He is also the University Entrepreneur in\nResidence at Arizona State University and is the Executive Producer of the\nREMOTE virtual summit series that is focused on on-line and hybrid pedagogy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously David served as the CEO of McGraw Hill (2014-17), the CEO of UBM plc (2005-13), CEO of Symbian Ltd (2002-2005) and of Psion PLC (1998-2002) and the COO and CFO of Euromoney Institutional Investor plc (1994-1998). While at McGraw Hill he positioned the business around the deployment of \u201clearning science\u201d and the use of adaptive learning technologies. At UBM, he led the pivot of the company away from print, building the exhibitions business through launches, geo-cloning and completing almost 100 acquisitions of events and data centric companies.
